"Apassionata: The Beginning," a live show featuring more than 40 horses that was supposed to visit the PNC Arena this weekend, has suspended it North American tour.

“With a heavy heart, we are suspending our North American tour immediately due to the financial crisis in Europe, which has affected our finances. The support we have received from fans across the country has been tremendous and it is our intention to come back as soon as possible," show producers said in a press release Tuesday.

"Apassionata" was supposed to play the PNC Arena June 15-17. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

"Apassionata" began its North American tour in April with shows in Louisville, East Rutherford, N.J., and Baltimore. They had planned to tour for 18 months.
