ZEBULON, N.C. — Zebulon police named a man they believe committed an armed robbery at a bank in the Triangle East Shopping Center Friday morning.

Police said Divine Justice Reddick, 23, of 8322 Fox Chapel Lane, Charlotte, is on the loose and should be considered armed and dangerous. He has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Reddick covered his face with a red bandanna when he entered a First Citizens Bank at 101 Wakelon Drive around 10:15 a.m., police said. He displayed a handgun and demanded money from the bank tellers, who gave him an undetermined amount of cash.

No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the robbery, officials said.

Reddick fled the scene in a black, four-door Honda Accord. A Nash County deputy found the car abandoned along N.C. Highway 97 near Stanhope a short time later.

Investigators learned the Accord had been reported stolen from Greenville, S.C., earlier Friday.

Zebulon police identified the bank robber as Reddick with the assistance of the Raleigh office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Reddick was described as a black man, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. The word "Priest" is tattooed on his left inner arm, and "Judiest" is tattooed on his right inner arm.

Reddick was released from jail in November 2006 after having served just over four years for a 2002 armed robbery in Mecklenburg County.

Anyone with information on Reddick's whereabouts should call at the Zebulon Police Department at 919-269-7455, ext. 221, Eastern Wake Crime Stoppers at 919-366-CRIME (2746), or dial 911.
