World Beer Fest releases beer lineup

RALEIGH, N.C. — World Beer Fest Raleigh is less than a month away and we are getting a glimpse of some of the hundreds of beers that will be available.

Double Barley Brewing in Smithfield and Bombshell Beer Company in Holly Springs will be making their World Beer Fest debuts during the April 5 event in Moore Square. They will be joined by other local favorites including Aviator, Fullsteam and Big Boss.

More participating breweries will be released each week. You can check the list on the World Beer Fest website.

General admission and VIP tickets are on sale now. General admission tickets are $45 and include unlimited two-ounce tastings and access to the Art of Beer Experience, which features beer ingredient samplings, pairings, educational seminars and more.

VIP tickets are $90 and include all of that and more – access to the VIP lounge in Cobblestone Hall (private bathrooms!), a traveling beer dinner, where guests can sample dishes from local chefs paired with beer, and a commemorative gift from the festival. Plus, VIPs have the opportunity to sample beers not available to the rest of the festival.

There are two four-hour sessions to choose from at the festival. The afternoon session is from 12-4 p.m. and the evening session is from 6-10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online through etix.com.
