Woman killed in Holly Springs crash
A woman died Friday morning in a collision on the N.C. Highway 55 Bypass in Holly Springs, officials said.
Posted — UpdatedHOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — A woman died Friday morning in a collision on the N.C. Highway 55 Bypass in Holly Springs, officials said.
The crash occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. as the woman, whose name hasn't been released, was turning off Old Adams Road on to N.C. 55. A northbound pickup hit her car.
The pickup driver, whose name also wasn't released, was treated at WakeMed Cary Hospital and released.
The crash remains under investigation, and no charges had been filed as of Friday evening.
