Woman identified in fatal Fayetteville pedestrian wreck
Police said Tuesday that Najenia Nicole Cary, 34, was killed Saturday night as she was trying to cross Country Club Drive in Fayetteville.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police on Tuesday released the name of a woman killed Saturday night when she was hit by a car.
Investigators said Najenia Nicole Cary, 34, of the 1000 block of Bowden Road in Fayetteville, was walking across Country Club Drive, at Distribution Drive, around 9:15 p.m. when Kevin Gregory Camps, 56, hit her with his 2003 Mercedes.
Police are still investigating the wreck and have not indicated whether charges will be filed.
