Woman found dead at Raleigh apartment
Raleigh police were investigating the death of a woman found in an apartment at 4709 Old Plank Road Thursday morning, spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were investigating the death of a woman found in an apartment at 4709 Old Plank Road Thursday morning, spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
Officers found Marla Jean Cook, 46, when they responded to a check-on-welfare call around 11 a.m. at the address.
The department’s Major Crime Task Force was handling the death as a homicide, Sughrue said. No other information was released.
