Pretty generalized statement there buddy, bet you don't know there are more white people on welfare in America than anybody else? The problem isn't welfare, color, or even gangs, it's class. Higher class people(more education, earn more $$$), whether black/white/hispanic whatever - commit less crime. It's simple sociology, take a college class sometime and you'll learn something maybe.

When people say it's nicer to live in Raleigh than Fayetteville, they're usualy referring to the type of people who live there.....

"Then move and dont' ever come back period. We don't need you"

More people need me & what I do than they do you and your city.. ;-)

"I am sure Fayettville is no different than any where else this day and time.... If I was going to 'jog' - it would be from the front door of the house to my car in the driveway - only way to be safe"

That's just being paranoid. Take a drive down Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, or Hillsborough St in Raleigh. College kids out jogging all the time, day and night. Sadly, NCSU does have some assaults on campus, but that's mainly because campus is downtown, and the attacker usually isn't a student but from the nearby "urban bad areas" if you know what I mean...LOL

"So ture. I love Fay and if you don't then get out and don't come back. Who need your negative talk about a town that's no worst to live in then any other town in the USA. I'm proud of the city I was raised in"

Please tell me you're kidding. You're telling me there's NO difference between Fay and oh say, Raleigh? Huge crime differences, differences in urban blight, bad areas, even the type of people who live there. Huge class differences in education, wage, etc to top it off. Being proud of your home city is one thing, but someone coming into NC for the first time, NO WAY I'd tell them to move to Fay instead of Raleigh. Or even Greensboro for that matter.

"That town will end up like Durham nobody wants to go there already the folks that work there try not to even live there.. that should tell ya something"

Fayv is already like Durham in most ways. Except Durham does have the rich cultural history of downtown, Duke University etc. Fayv is just mosly a nasty, dirty, crime ridden city.

Easy, because soldiers typically don't leave base with a weapon and Fayetteville is full of gangs....so the soldiers are left with their own personal weapons when they're not on duty.

You bring up an interesting point though. I wish they'd order the military into the "bad" areas of Fayetteville and "take out the trash"....same with Durham, Selma, Wilson, Rocky Mount, etc. Youtube is full of videos made by gang members from these cities bragging about how they own it, and making fun of white people. It's time we got tough like LA did against their gangs in the 90's...

Fayv is no different than any other NC mid to large city. B&E, drug and street crime is bad all over. I would not want many of the posters on WRAL in my neighborhood or around my kids though.
