    And this is news?

  • Wolfy1 May 19, 2008

Even if it wasn't a concealed carry permit...NC has an "open carry" law as long as it wasn't concealed. This is assuming the weapon in question was a firearm and not a knife or club. The worse the guy could be in trouble for is trespassing and that's assuming there was a "no weapons" sign on the door.

Maybe he had a Concealed Carry Permit?

I don't understand what the big deal is. There was no crime, he just had what APPEARED to be a weapon. What a waste of tax payers money!

Just because it was a black man with a weapon doesn't mean that he was up to no good. Good Grief!

  • dryhumper May 19, 2008

OK! So there was no crime!?!?

Let me report to WRAL that this isn't news if no crime was committed.
