Here's the place to share your meal ideas for the evening, post where you bought the ingredients frugally and even share a recipe if you would like. If you need some inspiration for your own dinner tonight, this may give you some helpful ideas.

What's on your menu tonight?

On the menu this week, we have:

Monday: Smoked turkey sausage with sauteed green peppers, mushrooms and onions served on rice. La Brea Italian bread and green beans on the side.

Tuesday - Happy Chanukah!: Beef brisket covered in McCormick steakhouse seasoning, pepper and garlic powder in the slow cooker with lots of onions & mushrooms and some beef broth. Sides of latkes (potato pancakes), noodle kugel and veggie tray and hummus.  For dessert, we are having Sufganiot (jelly donuts - traditional on Chanukah).

Wednesday: Leftover brisket sandwiches, leftover latkes, steamed broccoli florets.

Thursday: Baked coconut shrimp (shrimp $7/lb at Lowes Foods through 12/16), baked sweet potatoes and steamed mini carrots (carrots are only .69 at Aldi until 12/16)

Friday: Baked cheese ravioli (Celentano ravioli BOGO recently, shredded cheese on sale at Harris Teeter through 12/16 for Buy2  Get 3 Free) , side salad, orange slices.
