Possibility of rain lingers
People attending Raleigh Wide Open, the State Fair and a home Duke University football game dealt with showers Saturday afternoon. The chance of more rain diminishes as the evening progresses.

Humidity was summer-like as an upper-level disturbance moved across the state Saturday.
"That's a lot of juice for those showers and thunderstorms to feed off later today," WRAL meteorologist Nate Johnson said.
Showers could linger into the evening.
The National Weather Service warns that a couple storms could become severe, with damaging winds. The best chance of severe weather is east of U.S. Highway 1.
In case of severe weather, the State Fair will open up Dorton Arena for people to take shelter.
After the front passes, drier, clearer weather will slip in. Sunday will see a high around 67 degrees, lower humidity and sunny skies.
"We are going to have a beautiful, sunny day on Sunday," WRAL meteorologist Kim Deaner said.
There is a slight chance of rain during the first few days of the work week.
