— A Dudley man was arrested Wednesday on accusations that he repeatedly raped a girl over two years, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

Gustavo Gaspar, 35, of 906 Pecan Road, faces four counts of first-degree rape of a child and one count each of first-degree sexual offense with a child and statutory rape. He was placed in the Wayne County jail under a $1 million bond.

The sheriff's office recently received a report of a sexual assault involving a 13 year old, authorities said. The girl then told investigators that the abuse had started when she was 11 and continued into this month.

Investigators said they searched Gaspar's house and seized items that "corroborate the victim's statements."

wildcat how do you know she is not poor?? And all familyfour was trying to say is it is a shame this 'poor child' had to go through this. His comment was sympathetic to this little girl. Lighten up! Good grief!

familyfour- I agree with you totally. It was very brave on her part to tell how she was being abused. I pray for her counseling and her recovery.

The courts should give this man 60 years in prison. I hope with good counseling the girl will be alright in time. Keep her in your prayers.
