Billie Wayne Stark, 65, of Pikeville, was arrested Wednesday on allegations that he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl.

<b>PIKEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A 65-year-old Pikeville man was arrested Wednesday on allegations that he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl.

Billie Wayne Stark, of 393 Weathervane Road, faces one count of taking indecent liberties with a child. He was being held under a $40,000 secured bond.

Investigators said that Stark admitted to being arrested for a similar offense in another state several years ago.
