WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Express bus service from Wake Forest to downtown Raleigh began Monday.

The Triangle Transit Authority also began a local circulator for the town itself. That run connects to Raleigh's Capital Area Transit bus service at Triangle Town Center.

The round-trip express service from Wake Forest to Raleigh will cost riders $5, but buying a pass brings a discount.

Three trips leave wake Forest for Raleigh each morning, and three runs return each evening.
