Wake County schools announce snow make-up day
Wake County students will have to make up a day of class after schools closed Monday due to snow and ice.
Posted — UpdatedCARY, N.C. — Wake County students will have to make up a day of class after schools closed Monday due to snow and ice.
School officials said that traditional-calendar students will now have class on Monday, April 25 while modified-calendar schools will be in session Tuesday, March 8.
Leadership academies will be in session Friday, March 11 and WECHS and VMCCA will be open on Monday, April 11.
Year-round students on tracks 1, 3, and 4 will have class on Saturday, Feb. 20. Students on track two did not have class this week, and therefore a make-up day was not required.
