Second man arrested, third sought in Fayetteville shooting death

Fayetteville police have arrested a second man and are looking for a third in the shooting death of a 25-year-old man near the intersection of Raeford Road and Scotland Drive on Monday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police have charged a second man and are looking for a third in the shooting death of a 25-year-old man near the intersection of Raeford Road and Scotland Drive on Monday.

Jonathan Galloway, 20, was arrested Wednesday on first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy charges. He was placed in the Cumberland County jail, but his bond amount was not released.

Police say Galloway, Justin Quavon Shumpert, Dequan Lawler and a 15-year-old juvenile whose name was not released killed Quinton Omar Solomon. 

Shumpert, 18, was arrested Tuesday. Lawler and the juvenile remain at large.
