Van slips on wet lanes of I-40, overturns
State troopers said that a van slipped on wet lanes on Interstate 40 East Saturday morning and rolled over several times, landing upside down.

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — State troopers said that a van slipped on wet lanes on Interstate 40 East Saturday morning and rolled over several times, landing upside down.
A family of five was riding in the van to the airport around 8:15 a.m. when they realized they had missed their exit onto Airport Boulevard and tried to turn off, troopers said. The van was going too fast and overturned.
Three people were transported to Duke University Hospital. Their injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening.
The off-ramp to Airport Boulevard was shut down for about an hour, troopers said.
