State Division of Alcohol Law Enforcement agents charged eight University of North Carolina students with drinking-related offenses Thursday night, authorities said.
The students were at the Angus Barn restaurant in Raleigh when they were cited. They face charges of underage drinking and using fake IDs.
Several 21-year-olds in the group purchased the alcohol for their friends, who were underage, authorities said.
The restaurant wasn't cited.
