UNC Student Hit By Car
A car hit a female University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student walking along a on-campus street Friday night, university police said.
Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A car hit a female University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student walking along a on-campus street Friday, university police said.
The accident occurred at Stadium Drive and South Street/N.C. Highway 54 around 9 p.m.
The student was alert and conscious when she was transported to UNC Hospitals, police said. Her injuries were non-life-threatening.
Chapel Hill police continued to investigate the accident Saturday. The victim's name and age have not been released.
