Two sought in robbery of Creedmoor bank

Creedmoor police released surveillance images Tuesday from a bank robbery last week in hopes the public can help identify the thieves.

CREEDMOOR, N.C. — Creedmoor police released surveillance images Tuesday from a bank robbery last week in hopes the public can help identify the thieves.

Police said a man passed a note to a teller at the RBC Bank on Main Street and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was a dark-skinned black man, about 5 foot 7 inches tall with gaps in his teeth. He was wearing a navy blue, hooded parka, dark baseball cap and white bandanna with blue jeans and black shoes, police said.

Police described a second suspect as a white woman with long red or brown hair. She was wearing a white jacket over a blue shirt with white lettering across the front and blue jeans.

The suspects were driving a white or silver Chevy Impala.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Creedmoor Police Department at 919-528-1515 or Granville County Crime Stoppers at 919-693-3100. A reward of up to $1,000 dollars is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, and callers can remain anonymous.
