Two men were shot outside their home in Hope Mills early Friday, police said.

<b>HOPE MILLS, N.C.</b> — Two men were shot outside their home in Hope Mills early Friday, police said.

People confronted and then shot the men as they returned home to 5017 Jefferson Walk Road around 1 a.m., police said. The victims were taken to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where their conditions were stable.

Police said that the shooters and the victims knew each other and that the shooting was not random. No arrests have been made.

Police say a woman was shot in the upper thigh while two men inside the home were arguing. EMS stabilized the woman and took her to ECU Health in Greenville. Both men suffered gunshot wounds during the altercation.
