FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two men were shot and a third was assaulted Wednesday night in a home invasion in Fayetteville, police said.

The crime happened at about 10 p.m. in the 300 block of Glen Allen Street, police said.

A teenager was working in the garage when two armed men dressed in black attacked him and held him at gunpoint, police said. The gunmen then forced the teen to enter the home, where they shot one man in the hip and another in the shoulder as they tried to escape.
