Two men rob southwest Raleigh Sonic restaurant
Raleigh police were searching early Thursday for two men who robbed a Sonic restaurant in the 100 block of Jones Franklin Road at about 1 a.m.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were searching early Thursday for two men who robbed a Sonic restaurant in the 100 block of Jones Franklin Road at about 1 a.m.
According to investigators, the men approached a cashier at the fast food restaurant with a pistol and demanded money. They left the area on foot.
It wasn't clear if they stole money, and authorities did not provide a description of the suspects.
