Two Lejeune Marines killed in Afghanistan
The Department of Defense on Tuesday reported the deaths of two Marines from Camp Lejeune.
Posted — UpdatedCAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — The Department of Defense on Tuesday reported the deaths of two Marines from Camp Lejeune.
Cpl. Jacob H. Turbett, 21, died Feb. 13. He was from Canton, Mich.
Pfc. Jason H. Estopinal, also 21, of Dallas, Ga., died Monday.
Both were members of the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force serving in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
Estopinal was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment; Turbett was assigned to 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion.
