RALEIGH, N.C. — Police said an argument over money early Sunday led to a fight in Raleigh nightclub in which two men were cut with what investigators believe was a knife.

The fight erupted on the dance floor at Legends Nightclub, 330 W. Hargett St., shortly before 2 a.m., Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue said.

One of the victims, suffered injuries in the back in what appeared to be a stabbing, Sughrue said. The other victim had been stabbed or cut on the face.

Sughrue said one of the men left the club and reported the assault at another location.

The 24-year-old and 22-year-old victims were treated at WakeMed.

Charges had not been filed in the case as of Monday afternoon.

Sughrue did not say whether police had identified a suspect but did say the victims told investigators their attacker was a woman.
