Two Enfield Men Face Drug, Weapons Charges

Dwayne Peterson, 25, and Marcus Peterson, 24, were arrested and charged with carring a concealed weapon, simple possession of marijuana, possession of stolen goods and possession of crack cocaine.

ENFIELD, N.C. — Car trouble turned into legal trouble for two Enfield men March 20.

Halifax County Deputy Chris High stopped to check on what appeared to be a stranded motorist along N.C. Highway 481. He ran the license plate and found it was listed as stolen. An inspection of the car and occupants revealed marijauna, crack cocaine, a razor knife and a gun.
