ZEBULON, N.C. — Zebulon police said Wednesday that they have charged a third person in a recent case in which a 13-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet.

The child, who was hit in the neck but not seriously wounded, was outside an apartment complex on East North Street late Monday when someone fired four or five shots at him, police said.

Cedano Lee Moore, 22, and Barry Darnell Sills, 47, both of 617 N. Privette St., were initially arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit assault with a deadly weapon.

Police most recently arrested Gregory Leon Miles, 26, of 100 Westside Circle, Zebulon, on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He was jailed Wednesday at the Wake County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond.

Investigators haven't said what prompted the men to allegedly shoot at the teen.

Moore and Sills were both in the Wake County jail Wednesday under a $100,000 bond.
