Two charged in Raleigh nightclub shooting

Police arrested two men Sunday in connection with a shooting in the parking lot of a Raleigh nightclub.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police arrested two men Sunday in connection with a shooting in the parking lot of a Raleigh nightclub.

Tavarius Quiller, 25, was charged with common law robbery, assault by pointing a weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. Roland Young, 23, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a firearm within city limits.

Both men were taken to the Wake County jail.

The charges stem from a shooting involving patrons of Club Passions, 3925 New Bern Ave., around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

A man, whose name was not released, was shot twice in the leg. Club security staff had to intervene in the altercation, police said.
