Two charged in Fayetteville homicide

Two women have been charged in connection with the shooting death of a Fayetteville man last week, police said.

Fayetteville police said Monday they have charged two women in connection with the shooting death of a man last week.

Myeisha Brown, 25, of the 5400 block of Laramie Court, and Michele Butler, 26, of the 6500 block of Wicklow Place, are each charged with first-degree murder in the death of Bobby Lamar Boose.

Boose, 43, was suffering from several gunshot wounds when police found him Friday in the 6500 block of Wicklow Place. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later died.

Brown and Butler are also charged with first-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy.

Detectives said they are working to identify a third suspect in the incident.
