Two arrested in Apex burglary

Apex police arrested two young men Tuesday for a burglary in the Holland Crossing subdivision.

APEX, N.C. — Apex police arrested two young men Tuesday for a burglary in the Holland Crossing subdivision.

They charged Randall Rhine and Joshua Hare with burglary, conspiracy, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hare, 16, is the brother of Ryan Patrick Hare, one of four teens charged in the November death of Matthew Silliman, 18. Silliman was reported missing on Nov. 26. According to arrest warrants, he died Nov. 30. His body was found Dec. 2.

Ryan Hare and three others – Allegra Rose Dahlquist, 17, of 601 Walcott Way, Cary; Aadil Shahid Khan, 17, of 901 Bristol Blue St., Apex; and Drew Logan Shaw, 16, of 107 Woolard Way, Apex – were indicted on one count of murder each in the case.

Joshua Hare was being held at the Wake County jail on $1,000 bond Wednesday.
