Two adults and five children were displaced early Wednesday after fire damaged part of a home on Docia Circle in Fayetteville, fire department officials said

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two adults and five children were displaced early Wednesday after fire damaged part of a home on Docia Circle in Fayetteville, fire department officials said

Emergency crews responded to the home at about 12:30 a.m. Officials said the fire started in the kitchen. Crews were able to contain it to the kitchen, but smoke damaged the rest of the home.

No injuries were reported, but the Red Cross was assisting the family.
