Pair accused of kidnapping pizza delivery driver

Posted January 7, 2013

— Two Cumberland County men face robbery and kidnapping charges after, authorities say, they robbed a pizza delivery driver Friday night and threatened to kill him.

Sherwin Vincent Moore, 18, of 4725 Star Rite Lane in Parkton, and Tavarius Devontae McLean, 20, of 7323 Acropolis Drive in Parkton, each face one count of armed robbery and second-degree kidnapping in connection with the crime.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said the pair was waiting for the driver to make a delivery around 10 p.m. Friday in the 4700 block of Desert Ridge Road of Parkton. When he arrived, investigators said, Moore allegedly forced the driver, at gunpoint, to the ground, took cash and pizzas and threatened to kill him if he reported the crime.

does one hope to get from a pizza delivery guy?

Not stupid at all. They had a loaded gun pointed at you, and that makes them so bad. It could have been you or me. They did it because they can and did. So why is is still important for certain business to stay open after, say 7:30 p.m.? Why not make it more safer for the employees. Its never the boss that has these encounters.

Put these criminals behind bars for a very long time. They knew right from wrong and yet they chose the wrong route. See what some parents are raising today? Our society is dangerous to live in. No where is safe any more. Please pray, for the Lord will hear.

Stupid! Just how much does one hope to get from a pizza delivery guy? They'll be back in the news again.
