Triangle Town Center revamps playground

As Cary Towne Center prepares for a big new indoor playground, another Triangle mall is working on a revamp of its play space.

Triangle Town Center in north Raleigh will shut its popular play area next to Sears down on Thursday. It should reopen on Aug. 16 with activities to celebrate a grand opening.

Jennifer Jones, the mall's marketing director, tells me that the play area's theme will be based on North Carolina's geography from the beaches to the mountains. A rendering shows everything from a beaver and dolphin to climb on to a pretend beach area and a pretend waterfall to a car and boat.

Everything will be new from the carpet to the equipment, she said. The location will be the same with a slightly smaller footprint.

Triangle Town Center off Capital Boulevard is a joint venture of The Richard E. Jacobs Group LLC and CBL & Associates Properties, which also owns Cary Towne Center.

As should you. I don't like you or the Red Socks

BTW, I was obsessed about germs in the beginning (and still am, somewhat), but honestly, kids seem to pick up viruses and bacteria no matter where they go, so I let the need for play outweigh the need to keep my kid in a bubble and just keep the wipes handy! ;-)

I'm happy for this new play area - there aren't too many indoor play places in Wake Forest (that are free). Great for yucky weather days.

P.S. if I did, it would still be my right and you should go live in a world where everyone has to agree with you. I would hate to have to be apart of your pathetic life, as I am sure you don't have one

Seems you love to spin things arond. You ust be one of those liberal things. Show me where I said anything about women, or do you use the old liberal tactic of "make the accusation, even if it is wrong, to confuse the weak minded Liberals that will believe you

My kids are rarely sick, and they're in daycare. They also touch slimy fish at the lake, play in the mud...barefoot, and they go to the park. I still wouldn't let them play at those places.

Yes, with your archaic views on... well, just about everything, it does not surprise me that hold women in such low regard, as well. Are you sure you wouldn't be happier in Saudi Arabia or someplace like that?

Actually it was in the Local News section, not that it is any of your business. Nor do I care what you "think" about it

Being a Red Socks fan, you have no room to talk about anyone
