Tractor-trailer overturns in Wilson
The driver of a tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries after his rig overturned on U.S. Highway 301 in Wilson Wednesday afternoon.

WILSON, N.C. — The driver of a tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries after his rig overturned near U.S. Highway 301 in Wilson Wednesday afternoon.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said the trucker had just picked up cargo and was turning when the contents shifted and caused the truck to roll over on Firestone Parkway at Herring Avenue.
The driver was cut on his arm and was treated by emergency workers at the scene.
It's unclear what was on the truck.
A hazmat team was called to the scene of the wreck as a precaution.
