<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A tractor-trailer caught fire at the junction of Interstates 40 and 540 on Thursday evening.

The state Highway Patrol said the tractor-trailer caught on fire while traveling on the ramp from I-540 to I-40 East around 7:25 p.m.

The ramp was blocked, but troopers said traffic kept moving, except for onlooker delays.

The fire was put out just before 8 p.m., and the ramp was reopened shortly after, traffic cameras showed.

No injuries were reported in the fire, troopers said. The state Highway Patrol and local police responded to the scene.
