RAEFORD, N.C. — Three people were injured early Sunday when gunfire broke out at a party near Raeford, according to the Hoke County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said two men – later identified as Farrow Cobb and Byron Singletary – got into a fight at the Lisenby Mobile Home Park, off Rockfish Road, where a large crowd of people was having a party, around 12:43 a.m.

At some point, Cobb shot Singletary in the lower abdomen, the sheriff's office said. Then, the men struggled for the gun, and Singletary shot Cobb twice in the hip and upper thigh.

A bystander, Te'Ondria Campbell, was also shot in the scuffle.

All three victims were taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, authorities said.

Charges are expected against Cobb once he is released from the hospital, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies had been investigating a noise complaint at the mobile home park less than 15 minutes before the shooting.
