Three charged with killing Robeson store clerk

Deputies found Robert O'Neill Williamson, 28, dead inside BB's Quick Stop, at 7548 N.C. Highway 130 East, shortly before 6:30 p.m.

Witnesses told deputies that three men fled the scene in a vehicle, and a vehicle of a similar description was later seen south of Lumberton, authorities said. A deputy saw the people in the vehicle tossing weapons into yards as they drove by, and two men later jumped out and ran inside a house.

The driver was taken into custody on Dresden Avenue in Lumberton, The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, the Lumberton Police Department and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives then scoured the convenience store and the yards where the guns were found for clues and questioned more than a dozen people.

Garionte Eunique Johnson, 16, of 372 Garrett Road in Fairmont, Marcus Taylor Locklear, 26, of 106 Martin Luther King Drive in Fairmont, and David Terrell Mosley, 37, of 378 Oak Grove Church Road in Lumberton, were each charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a firearm and felony conspiracy. All three were being held without bond in the Robeson County jail.
