CARY, N.C. — Police have arrested three men in 13 vandalism incidents that occurred near Kildaire Farm Road and Cary Parkway.

Cody Campbell, 20, of 1326 Takeaway Place in Morrisville, Justin Fenske, 21, of 5321 Creekridge Lane in Raleigh, and Daniel Harvey, 20, of 303 W. Johnson St. in Cary, were each charged with vandalism and discharging a firearm within city limits. Campbell was also charged with resisting a public officer.

The firearm charges stem from a Sunday incident in which witnesses saw men shooting into an unoccupied vehicle on Climbing Ivy Court, police said.

Using the description that witnesses provided, police located a gray sport utility vehicle at the McDonald’s at Kildaire Farm Road and High Meadow Drive. A pellet rifle and a spotlight were found inside the vehicle, police said.

Police said the arrests might help clear as many as 20 cases. In each of the incidences, they said, the vandals used a pellet rifle to break car windows and damage car doors.
