Three arrested at RDU after Raleigh shooting

Police arrested three suspects Sunday night at Raleigh Durham International Airport after a shooting in southeast Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police arrested three suspects Sunday night at Raleigh Durham International Airport after a shooting in southeast Raleigh.

One victim suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot on Lindhurst Drive around 10 p.m., according to police.

State troopers spotted a car matching the description of one linked to the shooting and followed it to the airport, where they found the suspects and recovered a firearm and drugs.

Authorities arrested Quinton Javon Turner, 27, Rubin Carlton McFadden, 26, and Bree'on Victoria Huff, 22.

Turner was charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill and trafficking cocaine.

McFadden was charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and trafficking cocaine.

Huff was charged with trafficking cocaine.
