It's absolutely alarming that 52% of murders that occur in the US are committed by African Americans although they only make up roughly 13% of the population. How long until leaders in this community stand up, admit there's a problem, and start holding people accountable? How many more young lives have to be ruined and lead down a path of drug dealing, stealing, murder, etc because there's no one in the home to give them guidance and teach them right from wrong? It starts in the home.

Everyday in the local headlines we read about another young black male that's been gunned down by a rival gang or another dope dealer. Literally every day.

If you're a productive, respectful, contributing member of society, you can do anything you put your mind to. I'm just tired of hearing parents tell us how good of a kid their child was after they go out and murder someone. My question to them is: if your child was raised right, why are they running around with a pistol at 17 years old? Very sad.
