Although bed bugs have gotten the most media coverage in the past few years, cockroaches are still a problem for New Yorkers, and still are providing ample work for exterminators in New York City. Behold the roach map, a map of cockroach infestation in New York City's restaurants. The data is based on city health inspections of restaurants that reported the presence of cockroaches. My own neighborhood is near the top of the list. Huzzah.
