<b>TARBORO, N.C.</b> — Customers on Tarboro's water system are experiencing problems with supply, police said Sunday.

Some houses, in the Summerfield and Clifton Ridge areas, do not have water or have little water pressure.

Crews are working on the problem which originated in a field off of Sherwood Avenue at about 11 p.m. Saturday.

Officials said they expect the approximate 2,000 homes to have normal water service again sometime Sunday evening.
