Suspect in Fayetteville shooting death arrested

U.S. marshals on Monday arrested a suspect in a December shooting outside a Fayetteville club that left one man dead.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — U.S. marshals on Monday arrested a suspect in a December shooting outside a Fayetteville club that left one man dead.

Rogelio Murphy Jr., 27, faces a charge of second-degree murder in the Dec. 3 death of Stacy Allen Bradford, 29, who was killed outside the Pearl Necklace at 6238 Yadkin Road. Police have not commented on a motive.

Murphy, of Conestoga Drive, was placed in the Cumberland County Detention Center. Information on his bond was not available.
