DURHAM, N.C. — A man wanted in a fatal Durham shooting in April was arrested Tuesday in Georgia, police said.

Brandon J. Kee, 23, was arrested in Marietta, Ga., and charged with murder in the April 17 death of Kareem Fowler.

Fowler, 33, was shot outside a house in the 900 block of Dupree Street.

Police said in May that they were trying to identify three people who fled the crime scene in a white Chrysler Pacifica. Investigators said they believe that someone might have seen the Pacifica around the North Carolina Central University campus or on Dupree Street the day before the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Durham police at 919-560-4440, extension 29332, or Durham Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
