Suspect arrested in Durham shooting
A man wanted by police for shooting a man in the leg on June 16 was arrested on Wednesday, police said.

Tony Maurice Jones, 25, of Hardee Street, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He remained in the Durham County jail Wednesday under a $600,000 bond.
Jones is accused of shooting a 36-year-old man near the intersection of Angier Avenue and Bingham Street. The victim was in a vehicle when he was shot, police said.
