Surveillance video of Durham armed robbery released

Police released surveillance video as they seek leads in the May 19 armed robbery of a BP convenience store at 2918 Guess Road.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police released surveillance video Friday as they seek leads in the May 19 armed robbery of a BP convenience store at 2918 Guess Road.

Investigators said a man entered the business around 10:40 p.m., pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. He fled with cash the employee's wallet.

Police described him as a black man between 20 and 30 years old. He was 6 feet 2 inches tall and had a very thin build. He wore a ski mask, black shirt, blue Dickie's pants and black shoes.
