The Greenville Police Department will hold a press briefing Sunday morning to update the investigation into the shooting of four people on Friday. The briefing will be held at 11 a.m.

<b>GREENVILLE, N.C.</b> — The Greenville Police Department will hold a press briefing Sunday morning to provide additional details on the shooting incident that occurred Friday. 

The shootings happened Friday morning in the parking lots of Kellum Law Firm and Walmart off Greenville Boulevard.

Greenville Police Chief Hassan Aden said officers found the suspected gunman outside the store and exchanged gunfire with him near the entrance, wounding him several times.

The four victims and the suspect underwent surgery Friday afternoon at Vidant Medical Center and their conditions are not known.

The State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case, which is standard procedure in officer-involved shootings.
