Student hurt in Wake Forest school bus crash

A 16-year-old student was hospitalized after a car collided with a school bus from Wake Forest High School Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — A 16-year-old student was hospitalized after a car collided with a school bus from Wake Forest High School Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The crash happened at about 2:40 p.m. at North Wingate Street and Stadium Drive. No other injuries were reported.

The driver of the car was not injured and will not be charged, Town of Wake Forest officials said.
