CARY, N.C. — A 23-year-old Cary man was jailed under a $2 million secured bond after being charged with the statutory rape of a 15-year-old girl, according to arrest warrants.

Reshawn Bernard Holder, of 102 Carriole Court, faces one count of statutory rape in which the offender is at least six years older than the victim and of taking indecent liberties with a minor. His first court date was set for Monday.

The warrants state that the alleged sexual offenses occurred between May and August.

In setting Holder's bond, court papers note that he was charged with a felony while on probation.

State Department of Correction records show that Holder was placed on probation for May 2008 convictions for breaking-and-entering vehicles and larceny.
