Spring Lake police searching for man in armed robbery

According to police, the man entered the Kangaroo Express at 1886 North Bragg Boulevard at about 5:40 a.m. holding a semi-automatic handgun.

Spring Lake police searching for man in armed robbery
SPRING LAKE, N.C. — Spring Lake police are looking for a man they say robbed a Kangaroo Express shop Sunday morning.

According to police, the man entered the Kangaroo Express at 1886 North Bragg Boulevard at about 5:40 a.m. holding a semi-automatic handgun.

The man demanded money from the store employee and then left the shop with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Thursday, police announced that they had obtained arrest warrants for Jeffrey Lynn Brayboy Jr., 33 of 6627 Bonnie Bell Lane in Fayetteville in connection to the crime. He is currently being sought for robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony conspiracy, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
