Spring Lake goes to four-day work week
Town Hall will now be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays.
Posted — UpdatedSPRING LAKE, N.C. — Starting Monday, Spring Lake in Cumberland County will switch town employees to a four-day work week.
Town Hall will now be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays.
Officials said they switched to the schedule to save money.
Wayne County went to a four-day work week earlier this year and Durham County is experimenting with the idea.
